Holiday Art Market: A VECCA-Sponsored Show
This form is for the Holiday Art Market. Participants should complete this form and drop off their artwork on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 15th to VECCA, 123 S. Main Street, Woodstock VA during the hours: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Any 2- or 3-dimensional medium is acceptable; however this show is an opportunity to sell smaller and lower-priced art around the holiday time. Buyers will have the option to take purchased work with them, artists will be notified of the sale and can replace work if desired.
Entry Information:
– SHOW LOCATION: Valley Educational Center for the Creative Arts, 123 S Main Street, Woodstock VA 22664
– ENTRY FEE: $5 per entry. Up to 4 entries accepted per artist. Payable to VECCA (or use the ART SHOW ENTRY FEE link here). If you pay online please print a copy of your receipt and bring it with you when you drop off your art. Please note: members get two free entries; gallery exhibition artists get another two free entries. All students get 2 free entries; student members get another two free entries.
– ENTRY DEADLINE & DELIVERY DATE: Drop off your artwork FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 15th, 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. or email VECCArts@gmail.com with questions.
– RECEPTION: DECEMBER 7TH, 12:00 – 2:00 All artists are encouraged to be present at the event so that VECCA and the community can celebrate this opportunity with you and your friends and family. Awards will be announced at this reception.
– PICK UP: SATURDAY, DECEMBER 30th, 2-4 p.m. Email VECCArts@gmail.com for other arrangements. Artwork may only be removed with the permission of a VECCA coordinator. Every effort will be made to ensure that artwork is handled with care; however, VECCA cannot be held responsible for loss or damage.
– REQUIREMENTS: VECCA membership is not required. All work submitted must be original. Artists must own the copyright of their work. Work must be labeled on the back with Artist, Title, Media, and Price. All work must be framed or with a finished look (e.g. clean sides, if an unframed canvas), as well as wired to hang (NO SAWTOOTH HANGERS). VECCA reserves the right to refuse any artwork deemed inappropriate for any reason listed herein.
– COMMISSION: A 30% commission will be collected on all artwork sold. VECCA will use this for continuing its mission for connecting the community with the creative arts. VECCA is run completely by volunteers. Sales will be totaled monthly and checks mailed by the middle of the following month.
