We’d like to educate you on the plight affecting artists in the Shenandoah Valley. Due to unprecedented drought conditions, these artists have resorted to ancient secret methods to collect their supplies in these lean times. Foraging techniques not used for centuries in the valley are being cultivated again to meet our needs. VECCA volunteers and artists are resilient and resourceful, but we could always use some more help from you, the patrons and fans of the arts. Please enjoy and hopefully learn a thing or two from these educational nature videos. Please also consider donating to VECCA, or simply stopping in to say hi and viewing their creations!
That was the idea behind the campaign video series, to encourage fundraising. We have more footage to create many more, and still welcome any members that would like to submit videos or script ideas to this campaign. I came up with this idea as a short-term series, but its obviously too much fun so it will be a ongoing series as long as folks want it to.
